Canoeing & Kayaking

There is no better place to be on a hot summer day than paddling the waters of the Northeast Kingdom.

Flat-water - pairs well with angling and birding, as well as getting children excited about exploring nature. Take a moonlit canoe or kayak trip to experience the tranquil beauty of the mountains reflected on the lake surface. Without running lights, just be sure that there is ample moonlight and that you paddle close to shore!

Whitewater – for brave and adequately experienced paddlers only.  The Northeast Kingdom’s rivers offer unparalleled excitement during high water.
